Why is my sixth grade ending this way?
I'm asking that same question sometimes, too. Don't stress out about it-- everyone is just growing up because they're going into middle school. Middle-schoolers are really kids; but they're so worried about reputations that they act older than they are. You'll see this sooner or later-- everyone will be trying to get a boyfriend or girlfriend, just for their reputations. This is just an immature way for the boys in your class to explore their hormones. You watched "the video" at the end of the year, right? This is the age boys start to go through puberty. They go girl crazy-- all they want right now is to touch a girl; which means hugging, to kissing, to... nevermind. Anyways, if you're a boy, you'll be going girl crazy, too! When you come back to school in the fall, all the girls will act totally different, and the boys will look very different (since they hit puberty over the summer). You might even look different. Have a great time in middle-school!
