LORT fans:Is Frodo really going to be in the new movie The Hobbit?

Im confused. Frodo is young during the time of Bilbo's adventures. Or not even born yet. Is he really going to be in the movie and if so what is he really going to do, since in the book Frodo is never mentioned and being so young probably cant do anything really significant to the story?
