Will there ever be more lotr?

I just finished watching all the movies.. And I can't stop thinking about how it ended, with frodo leaving the shire.. Will there ever be any continuations to their tale?? Or is it finished..I'm addicted to this series.. And I couldn't imagine it ending forever how it did..
