I want a bestfriend thats a girl, how do I do this?

I am tired of hanging out with dudes all the time. I am going to ninth grade so perfect place for me to meet new female classmates. I rlly want a female to love and cherish as a friend and hang out at subway or sonic with and go to the park and stuff but Im to nervous to talk to them. How do I get a female best friend?
